Position: Training Line Upholsterer

Essential Functions of Job
Works with a team of 8-12 co-workers to jointly assemble fully upholstered furniture in a fast paced environment while attaining required quality standards and while complying with all safety rules and practices.
Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend for 8 hours or more daily. Requires constant use of arms, hand, fingers and eyes to assemble upholstered furniture.
Able to use common upholstery tools such as air powered staple guns, mauls, hammers, scissors, regulators, nail guns, tack pullers, etc. Ability to work while wearing required personal protective equipment.
Obtain various materials needed to complete schedule. Begin steps to complete upholstery by securing materials to frames. Variation in these upholstery procedures will occur with different styles; however basic operations will be the same.
May require lifting up to 55 lbs., carrying 40 lbs., or pushing and sliding up to 200 lbs. with team member lifting.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervision.
Assist with any other tasks in the line, department or facility as directed by supervision.
Responsible for cleaning around work area daily.
